High-quality silica bricks for glass kilns are siliceous refractory materials designed for the high-temperature part of glass kilns (not in contact with glass liquid). They are mainly composed of tridymite, cristobalite, and a small amount of residual quartz and glass phase. The raw materials are natural silica sand with a SiO2 content of more than 96%. The higher the SiO2 content, the better the high-temperature resistance of the silica bricks. This kind of silica brick has high-temperature volume stability in the glass kiln, does not pollute the glass liquid, has strong chemical corrosion resistance, and has a low density, which can reduce the weight of the kiln.
1. High temperature volume stability: At a high temperature of 1600℃, the kiln body will not deform, ensuring the stability of the kiln structure.
2. No pollution to molten glass: The main component is SiO2, even if dripping occurs, it will not affect the quality of molten glass.
3. Excellent chemical corrosion resistance: The smooth metamorphic layer formed by R2O gas corrosion effectively reduces the corrosion rate.
4. Low density: Low volume density can effectively reduce the overall weight of the kiln.
1. Glass melting furnace top and furnace superstructure.
2. For hot repair purposes.
