Corundum brick is a refractory material with corundum (alumina, Al2O3 content exceeding 90%) as the main crystal phase. Its characteristics include extremely high cold pressing strength, high wear resistance, high refractoriness under heavy load (over 1700°C) and good chemical stability. The product has excellent corrosion resistance and can resist the erosion of acidic or alkaline slag, metal and molten glass. Corundum bricks can be divided into two types: sintered corundum bricks and fused corundum bricks. The raw materials can be sintered alumina or fused corundum, and can also be manufactured by sintering by combining alumina clinker with a high aluminum-silicon ratio with sintered alumina.
1. It has extremely high cold pressing strength and wear resistance, ensuring stability and durability in long-term use;
2. High refractoriness over 1700°C under heavy load, suitable for high temperature industrial applications;
3. Excellent corrosion resistance, can effectively resist the erosion of acidic or alkaline slag, metal and molten glass;
4. High chemical stability, ensuring excellent performance in various harsh environments;
1. Blast furnaces, hot blast furnaces, ladles, torpedo tank cars, etc. in the metallurgical industry;
2. Key parts of glass melting furnaces in the glass industry, such as upper structures, burner bricks, and front-end pools;
3. High temperature fire resistant protection application in petrochemical industry.
